Armored Truck Courier Robbed At Gunpoint During Stop In Maryland

A pair of wanted suspects are at large following an armored truck robbery on Tuesday morning in Prince George's County.

Members of the Hyattsville Police Department were called to investigate the armed robbery of a Brinks courier who was accosted at around 10:15 a.m. on Aug. 20 in the 4500 block of Jefferson Street before fleeing in a silver sedan with Maryland tags.

According to police, the men were armed with firearms, though it is unclear if they were able to steal any cash or property from the truck driver.

No injuries were reported. No information about the suspects was released by police.

The incident remains under investigation.
